AMAZING! Doctors Peform First-ever Brain Surgery On Baby Inside Womb

A newborn with a fatal genetic condition underwent the first-ever fetal brain surgery by medical professionals.

A vein of Galen abnormality was discovered in the unborn kid at 30 weeks, and according to the Daily Mail, newborns with this ailment had a 30% chance of passing away before turning age 11.

A ten-person medical team from Boston Children's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in the United States performed the surgery, which required making incisions into the womb, the baby's skull, and the growing brain.

An ultrasound is used during the procedure to locate the artery and direct the surgeon as they cut into the pregnant woman's abdomen.

A healthy baby boy without any birth problems was born two days after the operation to the baby's mother.
